Missed Opportunities

On Saturday I was passing through Ithaca when I found a flyer for an event on Thursday night.  Apparently someone was creating a movie based on H. P. Lovecraft’s “The Whisperer in Darkness” and needed extras in Twenties or Thirties garb for a shoot.  No contact information was provided, so I don’t know whether this was the version promised by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society or some local group putting together a fan production.

At any rate, you’ll be spared the terror that comes from seeing my face on the big, or more likely, small screen.

  1. ah, too bad…. i think you’d have looked handsome in clothes from that period. of course, ’tis best to be wary about other people’s movies unless you know the particulars…..

  2. Perhaps more frightening is the thought that you travel the country with 20s & 30s garb in your trunk for just such an impromptu opportunity.
