The Long-Lost Friend: A Game-Changing Moment

Bret just got back to me about the 1846 Long-Lost Friend, with some photographs of pages and a transcript of contents.

I’ve compared it to both of the English translations available, and the 1846 is quite different from them.

I’ll add that this is Hohman’s own translation of his original German.

If I can get permissions from one or another owner, this will kick the entire book up another notch in significance.

Oh yes – it would also mean ditching my entire English text and re-transcribing it.  We’re ignoring that for the moment.
