Cyprian’s Books of Magic

Readers on grimoires have been quite patient with me, and I’ve got something special for them.

A few years ago, I asked a Galician scholar, Félix Francisco Castro, if he could write us a piece on the Hispanic world’s magical literature attributed to Saint Cyprian, the purported fourth-century magician turned bishop.  Time went on, and both of us were busy with other projects.

Now, I’m happy to provide you with what I can say, with some confidence, is the most comprehensive examination of the Cyprian literature ever published in English.  Enjoy!
